Arizona Industries for the Blind

Arizona Industries for the Blind (AIB) was established in 1952 to provide employment and training opportunities for Arizonans who are legally blind. During its long history, AIB has provided consistent, quality products to military and federal customers and has helped thousands of people who are blind achieve economic independence through employment. As a Digital Data Scan® service provider, AIB now offers a valuable service to local businesses while creating additional high-tech employment opportunities for people who are blind.

Like all providers of Digital Data Scan®, AIB is an independent non-profit organization that is associated with National Industries for the Blind (NIB) and the AbilityOne Program. As an AbilityOne Program participating agency, at least 75% of AIB employees are legally blind. In fact, because of organizations like AIB, Americans who are blind are able to lead more productive and independent lives.
